Skycore Semiconductors raises EUR 5 million in seed financing

Danish Skycore Semiconductors has announced a EUR 5 million seed round led by APEX Ventures, with participation from First Momentum Ventures, Mätch VC, and Balnord.

The Copenhagen-based deep-tech startup was founded in 2021 by Pere Llimós Muntal, Dennis Øland Larsen, Thomas Souvignet, and Guifré Vendrell Pausas. Focused on transforming high-voltage energy conversion, the company develops advanced power converter ICs based on patented switched-capacitor technology originating from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

The investment will accelerate team expansion, advance product development and manufacturing capacity, expand the patent portfolio, and support co-development projects with key partners in the AI infrastructure market.
