Mazanti-Andersen advises Nøie as it raises $12 million in Series A funding from Talis Capital

The customised skincare platform Nøie has raised $12 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Talis Capital, a London based venture capital investment firm, with participation from Inventure, as well as existing investors including Thomas Ryge Mikkelsen, former executive vice president at Pandora, and Kristian Schrøder Hart-Hansen, former CEO of LEO Pharma’s Innovation Lab.

Copenhagen-based Nøie was founded in 2018 and aims to improve the quality of life for people suffering from sensitive skin conditions including acne, psoriasis and eczema. The company uses an in-house tech platform and has developed its own database of skin profiles. Using its own R&D, Nøie screens thousands of skincare products on the market, selects what it thinks are the best, and through a skin test and an algorithm, customers are assigned to their skin family and recommended customised products that suit their skin.

The company was co-founded by Daniel Jensen and Chris Christiansen and was originally span out of LEO Pharma’s Innovation Lab. Nøie will use the funding to further develop its R&D, to launch new product categories, and expand into new European markets while driving sustainability and environmental responsibility within the business.

Mazanti Transactions advised Nøie in connection with the investment with a team led by Frederik B. Hasling.
