Thomas Weisbjerg

In addition to advising on general commercial and company law matters, Thomas Weisbjerg has extensive experience in advising Danish and international clients on matters relating to corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, securities and capital markets law as well as private equity and venture capital investments. He also advises on shareholder relations, financial regulation and financing, including acquisition and project finance.

Thomas Weisbjerg has provided advisory services to both listed and privately owned companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital companies, public institutions, institutional investors and high net worth individuals. He is frequently mentioned in international legal rating publications such as Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal.

Within his field of practice, Thomas Weisbjerg has contributed to several national and international legal publications, including Getting the Deal Through (Mergers & Acquisitions), The International Capital Markets Review and Growth Through Acquisitions and Mergers, and has been an external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen (mergers and acquisitions) and at Copenhagen Business School (CBS).

He is a member of the Danish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association’s (DVCA) committee on financial regulation, the Danish Association for Company Law, the Danish Association for Banking and Finance Law and the Copenhagen Law Society.
