Danish Cerebriu secures DKK 45 million to expand global access to AI-driven MRI technology
Cerebriu has successfully closed an additional DKK 45 million Series A round to further its mission of expanding MRI accessibility through advanced artificial intelligence. The round’s main investor was Danish venturefund North Ventures, with continued support from long-term key investors including EIFO (Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund).
Cerebriu, founded in 2018 and based in Copenhagen, is a leading innovator in AI-powered radiology solutions. The company has developed Apollo, a software designed to identify abnormalities in brain scans and strategically guide radiologists' focus to areas requiring further attention.
Cerebriu’s technology has already garnered significant attention – supported by the first implementations in hospitals in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The company is also collaborating with MRI industry leader Siemens Healthineers and several leading hospitals in the USA for clinical validation.
The funding will enable the company to broaden its product portfolio and accelerate its commercial development.
Mazanti Transactions advised long-term client Cerebriu in connection with all aspects of the investment with a team comprising Jens Folker Bruun and Camilla Frandsen.
