Final Frontier successfully closes new fund to invest in Nordic defence tech

Mazanti Transactions has advised Final Frontier, a Danish venture capital fund investing in Nordic space and defence tech startups, in connection with the close of its first fund, Final Frontier Liftoff.

The new fund is raised exclusively with capital from visionary angels and prominent defence profiles, including former NATO Secretary General and Prime Minister of Denmark, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Michael Holm, CEO of Systematic, and Dan Hermansen, MyDefence.

Final Frontier aims to support Europe’s strategic autonomy by investing in emerging defence tech companies and driving innovation in the sector. The new fund will invest in early-stage Nordic startups working in areas such as drone technology, mine clearance, surveillance and air defence.

In 2026, Final Frontier plans to raise a significantly larger fund to enable participation in later-stage and larger investment rounds.
