Hovedstadens Bygningsentreprise A/S sold to Pinerock Group

Hovedstadens Bygningsentreprise A/S has been sold to Pinerock Group, a Swedish provider of renovation, maintenance, and improvement (RMI) services backed by the London-based private equity firm EMK Capital. Mazanti Transactions has advised the seller, Lottrup & Co A/S, in connection with the transaction.

Lottrup & Co is a Danish family-owned investment fund that invests in growth-oriented companies across a range of sectors. As an active and long-term investor, the fund partners closely with management teams to support growth, value creation, and strategic development.

Founded in 1982, Hovedstadens Bygningsentreprise is a leading Danish construction company specialising in renovation and maintenance of residential buildings. With more than 160 employees, the company has established a strong market position in the Greater Copenhagen area, primarily serving non-profit and private housing associations.

Hovedstadens Bygningsentreprise will continue to operate under its existing name and with its current management team, while benefiting from opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing across Pinerock Group's Nordic platform, which today comprises 16 local brands across Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

The transaction marks Pinerock Group's entry into the Danish market and supports its ambition to become a leading RMI provider in the Nordics.

The transaction is subject to approval from the relevant competition authorities.
