The deadline for submitting annual reports for the calendar year 2020 is extended to 30 June 2021

An executive order of 17 May 2021 provides for an extension of the deadline for submitting annual reports for companies covered by reporting class B (companies with a balance sheet total of DKK 44 million, a revenue of DKK 89 million and an average of full-time employees of 50 during the financial year) and reporting class C (companies with a balance sheet total of DKK 156 million, a revenue of DKK 313 million and an average of full-time employees of 250 during the financial year) having a financial year ending on 31 December 2020.

The deadline for submitting annual reports for these companies is extended to 30 June 2021 and is thus extended by one month.

The executive order of 17 May 2021 also contains the possibility for the management to decide to hold a full or partial electronic general meeting    , regardless of whether such an option has been adopted and included in a company's articles of association. Furthermore, the order gives management the opportunity to deviate from the provisions of the articles of association on convening and/or holding the company's general meeting and submitting the annual report.

The executive order enters into force on 19 May 2021.
