EUR 2.8 million seed investment in Danish AI company TODAY, co-led by High-Tech Gründerfonds and Insurtech Gateway

Mazanti Transactions has advised HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds and Insurtech Gateway who has have co-led a €2.8M seed round in the Danish company UseToday ApS (TODAY). SEED X Liechtenstein, Lucid Capital and experienced industry angels are also taking part.

International investors are betting on vertical AI. And they are finding it in Denmark.

The investment thesis reflects a broader shift. AI in regulated industries is moving from experiments to everyday workflows. Investors are backing the teams that build specialised, compliant solutions for one industry, rather than general-purpose tools. TODAY builds AI agents that take routine work off financial and insurance advisors, so they can spend more time with their clients.

As HTGF’s Tizian Hoppen put it, TODAY is ‘building the vertical AI layer that will remove this friction from sales professionals’ day-to-day work.’

Cross-border rounds like this bring foreign investors, Danish corporate law and fast timelines together, and we are glad to help international capital find its way to Danish tech.
