Defence Tech: Balnord and FORWARD.one co-lead investment round in Sapient Perception

Mazanti-Andersen has advised Balnord and FORWARD.one in connection with their co-led investment in Sapient Perception, which has raised EUR 2 million in pre-seed funding.

Sapient Perception is a Danish defence technology startup specialising in advanced AI-based, high-resolution sensor systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), enabling wider perception, faster decision-making and real-time autonomy in mission-critical environments.

The investment will support the continued development and international deployment of the company’s 10K ISR sensor technology and reflects growing demand for edge-based intelligence systems that can keep pace with increasingly complex defence and security operations.
